Honestly nothing crazy happened this past week. Sometimes it’s necessary to take a break! Lots of people were at Lolla. We had a chill coworking session too.

  • if anyone knows people working in media (journalists, editors, influencers, podcasters, etc) in Chicago or SF please let us know by replying to this email. We’re hosting several mixers between media and founders. One in SF, one in Chicago.

  • we’re going to be in NYC for the NYC Tech Week October 16th-22nd cohosting events with Verci. We’d love to have others from GENESIS Chicago come to represent & get involved in NYC Tech Week. Warning: it will be crazy.

  • we're starting to plan the GENESIS coworking expedition to Costa Rica this coming February. It'll be 3-4 weeks of adventure, nature retreat & wellness programming, parties cohosted with local organizations, and of course an opportunity to connect with the top top young entrepreneurs & get some work done. People will be coming & going BUT if you were to stay for the whole experience, how much would you value that in $ (place to stay, wifi, food, and of course experiences, flight not incl)? Just to gauge our budget. Please drop a reply to this email.
